Dhaka, April 29: A ten men BJMC beat an injury ridden Abahani Ltd by 3-1 goals in the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday. 

BJMC midfielder Omar Faruk Babu was sent-off at the end of the first half. Abahani missing their regular defenders Md. Shujon, Samad Youssif and defensive midfielder Yoko Samnik saw their defence  a weak one and BJMC took the advantage.  

--> Team BJMC went up in the 16th minute after midfielder Abdullah Parvez sent a chip to advancing Toklis and the in-form forward hit the far post net with an angular shot (1-0). 

Ismael Bangoura, the Guinean forward of BJMC doubled the margin in the 30th minute after Toklis set him free with a neat square pass. Bangoura had just to tap the ball in (2-0) 

Toklis hit his second in the 42nd minute after taking the advantage of a defence lapse when Mokhlesur Rahman’s cut back was not properly cleared by Abahani defender Shawkar Russell. Toklis placed the ball into the middle of the net (3-0). 

BJMC midfielder Omar Faruk Babu was sent off in the 46th minute for the second yellow card. 

Shakhawat Rony reduced the margin in the 77th minute with a volley on Abdul Baten Majumdar Komol cross ( 3-1). 

With the win BJMC raised their collection to 23 points from 15 matches. Abahani remained on their previous collection of 29 points with one match to play.
