Nepal national football team receiving cash prize award
In a function organised here at ANFA complex Satdobato ANFA felicitated the recent National Team players. Ex-Prime minister and Nepali Congressmen Sher Bahadur Deuba was on the occasion to laud at the attempt of Nepali National Football team for their effort to uplift the national pride. He also talked about ANFA working towards youth program in various corner of the nation.
ANFA president Ganesh Thapa also praised for the effort shown by the National side even though the result weren’t in their favour but the footballing scenario was on the rise. He also talked about footballers earning a good sum of money and getting to have luxury cars and homes. This all showed about getting the football in a professional level which was the main aim of ANFA. Besides that he also vowed to award National Side with apartment if they will win the SAFF Championship that will be held here at Nepal on September.
The felicitated players were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 during the occasion. ANFA declared that they were always ready to motivate the players in whatever way they can and will continue to do so in the near future.
The program was attended by the National Women’s team, ANFA academy players, National Referees, Club coaches, National Coach Jack Stefanowski and Richard Orlowski and all of the current national team squad except Rohit Chand away on duty for his club and Santosh Sahaukhala ,who is currently in sidelines after his successful surgery on his dislocated wrist.
