Male’, MALDIVES – Valencia skipper Assad Abdul Ghani’s scored in the 70th minute to add another win for Valencia in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League against Eagles today.
In the 5th minute Valencia created their first chance when Yavor penetrated the defense line and gave a good ball to Hamdhaan but his shot went over the bar.
Eagles made their mark in the game in the 19th minute but Furugan's shot went wide.
In the 39th minute Hamdhaan made another good shot, this time on target but it went straight to the keeper’s gloves.
Valencia missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock as Hamdhan hit the side netting from a superb pass by Yavor.
Two minutes after the break Adam Sahir made a good shot but went over the bar.
Assad Abdul Ghani broke the deadlock in the 70th minute. Assad’s shot inside the box from Yavor’s free kick went straight to the bottom corner of the goal.
