BG Sports Club started the match without their key players who were suspended due to the brawl happened in their last match. Rilwan, Faruhad and Ashad were amongst the suspended players for today's game.
In the 11th minute of the game Mohamed Jumayyil Nimal missed a golden opportunity for BG to break the deadlock from a descent cross from Ahmed Zaadh, but his shot inside the six yard box went over the crossbar.
In the 35th minute Abu Desmond Mansaray tried to beat Azzam inside the box but he was halt by the defender. AYL players and Officials appealed for a penalty but Referee denied.
Three minutes later Abu Desmond made another good shot on target just outside the box but keeper Ibrahim Ifrah Areef cleared it for a corner.
BG Sports made some early changes after the break to make some changes to their performance.
In the 69th minute Mohamed Hussain made a good long range shot but it went wide off from AYL goal.
Mohamed Hussain scored the winner in the last minute of the game from a defensive mistake from AYL defenders. They failed to clear it inside the box and Mohamed Hussain’s shot from crowded area hits the goal net.
In the next match in Dhiraagu Dhivehi League 2013, Club Valencia will play against Eagles tomorrow at 16pm.
