The victory took Churchill to 51 points from 24 games, and all they need is a couple of more points to clinch the coveted trophy for the second time. If East Bengal and Pune FC, both on 43 points, draw any of their remaining three matches, Bhowmick's side can even afford to lose their final two games against Air India and Mohun Bagan (return leg).
