Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club routed Arambagh Krira Sangha 2-0 in the 2nd leg of Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.

Jamal also beat Arambagh 4-0 goals in the first leg. 

Khokon Das had chance to put ahead Arambagh in the 8th minute but his chip from the box was saved by goalie Masud Rana for corner.

Nigerian midfielder Uzemefon Joel frustrated Arambagh in the 35th minute as his flying header missed the post on a cross of Khokon Das from the left.

However, against the wind Towhidul Alam Sabuz broke the deadlock for Sk. Jamal in the 83rd minute with a header off a cross of midfielder Arup Kumar Baidya.  

Sk. Jamal doubled the lead in the stoppage time through their Nigerian midfielder Chibuke Ibiji who placed the ball into the net from a cross of Towhidul Alam Sabuj from the right flank.  (2-0)

After the triumph, Jamal took their tally to 28 points from 13 matches, one point behind the league leader Sk. Russell, while Arambagh remained with their previous earning on 6 points from the same number of matches.
